There are times when you need to run, times when you need to pause and never need for anything in-between.

Happy Birthday Me

I hit the grand old age of 37. Someone said I did not look that old and looked closer to mid 30's...but that is what I am. Had to laugh.

Reason to be believe

Is it because of the way you think you will perceived if you do not or is it something you really believe in?  For me it was always the first. I still have not told my parents - that Asian guilt is pretty strong especially when it comes to religion.

Travelogue - Day 1

After everything I said about India previously, it seems as though I have to return after eleven months but not for pleasure just business.  There is a plot of land in the name of my brother and I that my dad wishes to sell.  Hang on, it is my land and I don't want to travel 6000 miles to sell something for just a few thousand pounds.  Well the choice is not my own and the Asian parent guilt complex seems to kick in and I find myself on 9W123 outbound to Amiritsar, Punjab.

Here is hoping for a better experience this time around.  The plan is similar to last year along with the added complication of carrying out a land sale.  The Eye Care Camp will also be on again while we are out there - 19th annual camp now (pictures to follow).

I find myself in the middle of the "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins the biologist, probably the best book to be reading while travelling to a devout country like India.  So far, a great read and instrumental in my "coming out" - There is no God. I am a moral person and I know the difference between good and evil.  This I determine by my humanity and not by any arbitrary rule book.
